USDA Certified Organic
Every cherry at Spindrift carries the official USDA Organic certification. Not just a claim, but a documented standard. Pick and eat with full confidence, straight from the tree.

Accessible to Everyone
Our pedestrian-style orchard keeps all fruit below seven feet on flat, mowed ground. No ladders. No hills. Easy for young kids, grandparents, wheelchair users, and everyone in between.
The Orchard
A Place You’ll Feel Like You Discovered
Spindrift Organics is tucked into Montana’s Flathead Valley, just off the road to Glacier. Every summer, we open the orchard gates and let people find us. The rest you’ll discover when you get here.
We’re USDA Certified Organic. It matters, and the people who care about it will ask.

Good to Know
Questions Before You Come
When is U-Pick season open?
We’re open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm, and closed Sunday through Tuesday. The season runs July 15 through August 1, weather permitting. Cherry timing can shift depending on the year, so call ahead near the end of the season.
What should I bring?
Sunscreen, water, and comfortable walking shoes. We supply bags, on-site weighing, and everything you need for picking. Just show up.
Do I need to bring my own bucket or bags?
Not at all. We provide everything. Pick at your own pace, we’ll weigh your cherries at the end, and you’re on your way.
Is the orchard accessible for kids, elderly visitors, or people using mobility aids?
Yes, and this was a design priority from the start. All of our trees grow under 7 feet tall on flat, mowed grass. No hills, no ladders, no rough terrain. Families with strollers, grandparents, and guests using wheelchairs or walkers are all equally welcome.
Are ladders required?
Never. Every piece of fruit at Spindrift is reachable from the ground. That’s how we planted the orchard. No step stools, no reaching overhead.
Are pets allowed in the orchard?
While we love animals, we aren’t able to allow pets in the orchard during U-Pick season. Flathead Lake State Park is about half a mile away and is fully dog-friendly. A great stop before or after your visit.
Are there bees?
We don’t keep hives in the orchard during U-Pick season, but bees are naturally present around a working orchard. Most visitors never notice. If you have a severe bee allergy, come prepared with your own EpiPen.
